The South County church has been involved in missions work in the nations of New Zealand and Mexico.
SCCOC has been involved with the Baja Missions efforts in San Vicente, Mexico for nearly three years now. We made our first contact with the San Vicente Church of Christ through the assistance of the City of Children.
The work in San Vicente continues to be a powerful ministry not only for that local congregation, but also for the South County church as well. Our continued efforts there have given our membership many, many opportunities to serve through these efforts. We have "one of our own" in New Zealand: Chris Dubose. Chris and his wife live and work in the city of Tauranga, New Zealand. Chris is a recent graduate of the South Pacific Bible College and serving in ministry with the church in Octumoctai, Tauranga, New Zealand.
